Located in Bristol, R.I., Basil & Bunny offers a plant-based, comfort food experience like no other.
Founder Lyslie Smith, created Basil & Bunny to prove once and for all that plant-based food isn’t “rabbit food.” What started with a two-person trailer in 2020, eventually grew into the go-to choice for plant-based enthusiasts and carnivores alike—earning Basil & Bunny recognition as R.I. Monthly Magazine readers’ choice for “Best Food Truck” two years in a row! Seeing how excited people were about plant-based comfort food they could get at a brewery and out around town, Basil & Bunny eventually saw a need to expand and built their very own brick-and-mortar, located in Bristol’s Unity Park.
